VIDEO CONFERENCE “NEW FRONTIERS OF COMPLEMENTARY THERAPIES IN THE TREATMENT OF HIGH-GRADE BRAIN TUMORS”
The twelfth conference of the volunteer organization Glioblastoma.IT ODV, the first of 2025, was a success. It was attended by about 50 people through various channels. It was held in Italian. The videoconference was attended by Dr. Alberto Laffranchi, who was responsible for the MeTeCO Group (Complementary Medicine and Therapies in Oncology) at the Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori in Milan, and Dr. Massimo Bonucci, founder and president of ARTOI (Associazione Ricerca Terapie Oncologiche Integrate), the first non-profit organization in Italy dedicated to the development and dissemination of integrative medicine in oncology, which combines conventional and complementary therapies for the treatment of tumors. The speakers told us in a language that is understandable even by non-experts what is happening in the field of complementary therapies in the treatment of high-grade brain tumors and in particular Glioblastoma. We thank all the participants and we are confident that in the coming days there will be many patients, caregivers and specialists who will be able to watch the video conference in deferred mode. The question and answer session has allowed us to shed light on some aspects of interest to the participants.
