Glioblastoma.IT ODV at Trieste Next
We all know how important it is to raise public awareness of the problems related to brain tumors and research in this sector. In this way we can attract more funding for research and ultimately speed up access to better therapies and hopefully a cure soon.
It is in this spirit that with Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste we organized, on Saturday 23 September 2023, an event as part of the Trieste Next initiative, the scientific research festival, entitled “The Frontiers of Research in the Treatment of Brain Tumors“.
The event, which will take the form of a round table, will be attended by Elena Longo, researcher at the SYRMEP Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste light line, Daniela Cesselli, professor of Pathological Anatomy at the University of Udine, Marco Vindigni, medical director of the ASUFC Udine Neurosurgery Unit and Roberto Pugliese, deputy general coordinator and director of the IT division of Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste, president of Glioblastoma.IT ODV as moderator. There will also be the participation of the comic duo I PAPU, Andrea Appi and Ramiro Besa, to enliven the discussion and make the experience more accessible to the public.
