SPECIALIZATION COURSE FOR THE “Speranza e Coraggio” PROJECT BEGINS TODAY
The specialization course officially begins today for psychologists and psychotherapists selected through the call published last July for the “Speranza e Coraggio” project, partially funded by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region.
As announced in the selection results, 16 candidates were ultimately admitted, in addition to two candidates from the waiting list and five volunteers who chose to participate. A total of 23 psychologists and psychotherapists are starting their training today to become active participants in the project.
This is a fundamental step: the course represents the operational heart of the “Speranza e Coraggio” project, as it will train professionals who will provide specialized psychological support to patients with brain tumors and their families. The goal is to provide concrete and immediately applicable tools to meet the emotional and psychological needs of those undergoing treatment.
The project is progressing rapidly. Selection was completed just a few weeks ago, and the future professionals are already ready to begin training. This demonstrates the determination of Glioblastoma.IT ODV and the partners involved in bringing the project to real impact as quickly as possible.
Further positive news is that next week, the new version of the Glioblastoma Navigator will be released. This digital platform will not only support patients in their therapeutic orientation but will also be the environment through which the remote psychological services of the “Speranza e Coraggio” project will be delivered.
These two steps—training professionals and releasing the platform—represent the foundation for building an innovative service, capable of reaching everywhere and ensuring ongoing support for those who need it most.
A heartfelt thank you to all participants for their enthusiastic support of this initiative, and to the organizations and individuals whose contributions have made the launch of this important project possible.
