Videoconference Genetic Predispositions in Brain Tumors

The video conference dedicated to Genetic Predispositions in Brain Tumors was a success. The meeting, which was attended live by approximately 50 people, was introduced by Roberto Pugliese (Glioblastoma.it) and featured presentations by Dr. Enrico Opocher, a pediatric oncologist specializing in neuro-oncology, with a focus on childhood brain tumors. Dr. Opocher treats central nervous system (CNS) tumors such as low-grade gliomas (LGG), high-grade gliomas (HGG), and retinoblastoma. He has experience treating infants under one year of age.

He has worked at the Pediatric Oncology Unit of the Padua Hospital since 2011, with previous experience in London with CNS and solid tumors.

The speaker’s presentation was moderated by Dr. Giuseppe Lombardi, who, as you know, directs the Neuro-Oncology Unit at the Veneto Oncology Institute (IOV) in Padua. The event, held as usual, concluded with a Q&A session open to attendees.

For those unable to attend or wishing to delve deeper into the technical details of the protocols presented, the video recording is available below.

In the hope that sooner or later we will be able to make high-grade gliomas curable, we wish you all happy viewing!
